I am incredibly grateful for all testimonials received but other than the links given here (and also on paperwork forwarded ahead of our visit) I will not actively seek reviews.
I often receive lovely feedback from our families in private-which remains private unless the family expresses a wish for it to be otherwise. I know that the time after our visit is hard emotionally and so I will not approach you directly or through a third party to gather reviews after the visit. I hope that what I can share, and word of mouth locally, gives you an understanding of what the practice can offer to our families.

Karen’s service is truly special. Her presence is so deeply caring at such an intimate time – at times giving space and privacy and at others holding with gentle strength. As painful as it was, I could not have hoped for a better transition for my darling girl.

Karen was so very attentive to his (and our) needs at the end of Mickey’s life. It completely reaffirmed the belief that end-of-life needs absolutely the same love, care and undivided attention as the beginning – this should go without saying. Mickey was a much loved family pet and to honour his death in the family home was so very right. Our children were very upset, but their experience of this ending of life was wholly positive, inasmuch as it can be, for which we’re so grateful too.

Thank you for your sensitivity in holding back, allowing us space to be with Scruff, to be in the process of letting her go so gently, and to be in our mourning. Reflecting back, it was beautiful in its sadness.

I just wanted to say thank you for looking after Dobby with such dignity. That day was always going to be awful for us but thanks to you we were able to ensure that we gave Dobby a peaceful, compassionate and calm end to her life rather than the horrible alternative of leaving her with the vet scared and alone. Knowing that she went in the way she did has given us a great deal of comfort during a horrible time and we couldn’t have asked for better people to help her move on to whatever is next for her. You were kind with us and Dobby and allowed us to feel in control of the process and able to do what was best for her. The way you communicated with us couldn’t have been better and I feel incredibly grateful that we were lucky enough to stumble upon your services. There is nothing that can take away the pain of losing a loved pet but dealing with the afterwards has been made immensely easier thanks to you.

My darling girl was such a big part of my life as were my other GSDs but, unlike a vets surgery, her passing was peaceful, unhurried & beautiful. I just wanted to extend a massive thank you for helping us ease Marmalade’s passing. I was anxious about the process, but you did absolutely everything to put us at ease, and to make this very difficult time manageable. We were both so thankful for your kindness and empathy. Marmalade meant a great deal to us – we have always considered our animals as part of our family – and we could not have asked for a more compassionate and gentle end for him, and for us, too. The space you gave us to bond with him, and the way in which you handled the entire situation showed more understanding than we hoped for. I wouldn’t wish losing a loved furry family member on anyone, but it goes with the territory, and I would recommend you to anyone who asked.
