In an emergency I would always advise seeking immediate help from your primary care vet. Getting comfort for your pet as quickly as possible is then the priority.
I offer pre-booked at-home euthanasia appointments Monday to Thursday. Occasionally I may be able to accommodate evening appointments Monday to Wednesday, depending on location, but this will not always be possible and a surcharge is applied to such visits. Please see the Contact Me page for information on same day booking Monday to Thursday. At-home euthanasia appointments on a Friday can now only be booked with a minimum of 24 hours notice as this day is now prioritised for remote quality-of-life and at-home veterinary palliative care consultations.
I offer appointments within an area of 10 miles radius from Newton Abbot but I do travel much further afield when availability allows.
For areas further outside of my 10 mile radius I charge the following additional fee:
Zone 1: surcharge £60. Includes Exeter, Exmouth, South Brent, Ivybridge, Kingsbridge, Dartmouth, South Dartmoor (within Dartmoor National Park south of B3212).
Zone 2: surcharge £80. Includes Salcombe, Plympton, Plymstock & Sidmouth.
Zone 3: surcharge £100. Includes Plymouth and Saltash.
Zone 4: surcharge £120. Includes Tavistock, Okehampton and North Dartmoor (within Dartmoor National Park north of B3212).
I can travel further in to Cornwall or North Devon upon request but please be aware that my out-of-area supplement is based on mileage, travel time and ease of route which can add significantly to my fee to you. If you feel that my service is appropriate for your needs but you do not fall in to my area or out-of-area zones please contact me and I can discuss further.
